Our founders, Jay and Dr. Gina Thayer, have a combined 40 + years of experience in relationship building, business development, training, instruction, program & product management including Jay’s 20 years in the U.S. Military.

Jay is a disabled combat veteran who retired from service in 2014 after serving 20 years and 9 months. The first 7 years of his military career was served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the remaining 13 years served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Thayer’s Marine Corp Service included extensive training in Special Operations Tactics, Reconnaissance, and Target Acquisition.  His U.S. Army service included time as an AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot, SERE Instructor, and Personnel Recovery Officer.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Science degree in Terrorism and Counter Terrorism Studies from Henley-Putnam University.

 

Gina has spent much of her career serving as a relationship builder, whether this was in the classroom as a secondary science teacher, as a university administrator and adjunct faculty member, or, as a business development & relationship building professional. She has had the opportunity to develop and foster relationships across multiple industries throughout her career and truly thrives in the environment of being able to connect people and business. Gina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Austin Peay State University, a Master of Education degree from the University of West Alabama, as well as, a Doctor of Education degree from The University of Alabama.

Through these are two very distinct career paths, Jay and Gina have cultivated a synergy of tactical business development, relationship building and SME consulting that speaks to a wide variety of audiences and leaders.
